NIDOA-USA Entrepreneurs Summit 2019

To empower Women & Youth in Nigeria! Promote Entrepreneurship! Enhance Leadership Skill! And Reveal the business of the 21st century!

About this Event

By 2050 Nigeria’s huge population will explode from nearly 200 million at present to over 402 million, making it predictably the fourth most populous nation on earth. The present economic diversification agenda and future development rests principally on adequate skill impartation to the Youth of Nigeria who are not only the most numerically abundant (65%) segment of the nation but invariably the custodians of the future. Women constitute about 50% of the country but are widely marginalized by cultural and traditional practices.

Unemployment among Nigerian Youth and Women is a staggering 35% and 27% respectively, representing a huge waste of human resources and talents. At the same time, export of Nigerian-made goods and services, which is dismally low in all sectors represents a major opportunity for growth. The NIDOA-USA is committed to working with all stakeholders to develop quality workforce, expand export of products and services; and to convert Nigeria’s large and diverse human population to a formidable asset. We are embarked on our Mission to foster the spirit of patriotism, networking, collaboration, and unification of purpose among Nigerians for the sole purpose of nation building.

We desire the network of money for the sponsorship of about 300 participants drawn from a target population of women and youth from all geopolitical regions at NIDOA USA Women and Youth Entrepreneurs Summit. Our heart is deeply drawn to our brothers and sisters who were traumatized by the xenophobia attack in South Africa and we believe that this summit is timely and will also impact their lives.
