National hospital Abuja experiencing power blackout due to unpaid electricity bills

News confirmed that the National hospital Abuja is currently experiencing a power blackout which began early this evening when the lights went off and failed to come on. The entire hospital including the Emergency and Trauma wards is completely dark.
According to reports, the hospital has been running on generator after its power supply was cut off due to unpaid electricity bills running into millions.
News has it that this evening, a key component of the generator developed a fault plunging the institution into darkness and making life difficult for patients and staff. culled from lib.com
