Abuja orphanages in Gwarinpa and Lugbe get relief materials
- Updated: July 6, 2018

Two orphanages in the Gwarinpa and Lugbe areas of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have received relief materials in food, clothes and household items.
The orphanages – Lady Dorcas Home, Gwarinpa, and Zion Orphanage, Lugbe, got the relief items from the Vice President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, Dr. Bola Onigbogi, who noted that such efforts were to assist the needy. The insurance council chair also held a medical outreach for elderly persons, aged 60 and above in the Karamajiji area of the FCT, after which they were given free drugs.
Onigbogi, who said that the outreaches to the orphanages and the elderly people were to mark her birthday, noted that “the aged and orphans usually suffered more neglect and abuses in the society.”
